Listening is an art. The more you do it the better you become. This applies to all kinds of listening whether you are conversing with a loved one over a meal or a friend over the phone or with us in the Realm of Love. To really listen is to open your heart to what the other person is saying and meaning. You listen with your heart as well as your ears.

So often you doubt what you heard, especially from your heart because that is more of an impulse that you feel rather than words that you hear. The translation of impulse into action is easier for some than for others. If the brain gets involved too early in the process, it can negate the feeling by overwhelming that gentle nudge with logic.

Listening with your ears uses the brain. Listening with your heart uses the other center of intelligence, your heartcenter.
